My mission started with my own family and has grown into a passion for helping others feel empowered, informed, and supported.

Why I Do This Work?

Because no parent should have to face this journey feeling overwhelmed or alone.

This work is incredibly close to my heart. As a mother of four children with special needs, I’ve spent over 12 years navigating the twists and turns of this journey. I’ve stood in doctor’s offices, sat through evaluations, filled out endless forms, and made some really tough decisions often without a clear roadmap. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, to wonder if you’re doing enough, and to try to hold everything together when the system isn’t built to make it easy.

That personal experience is what led me to create Empowerment Family Support Services. I wanted to build the kind of support I wish I had in those early years someone who not only understands the processes but also deeply understands the emotional weight families carry. No parent should ever feel like they’re doing this alone. Everyone deserves someone in their corner, cheering them on, helping them breathe, and reminding them they’re doing an amazing job.

Through Empowerment, I offer hands-on, heart-centered support for families whether you're just starting out or trying to get back on track. I blend my lived experience with real knowledge of the systems, services, and resources available, so you can move forward with more clarity and less stress. You won’t get cookie-cutter answers here just personalized, compassionate guidance that meets you where you are.

More than anything, I want families to feel capable, cared for, and confident in their next steps. You’re not alone in this and with the right support, you don’t have to feel like you are.
